Gogh Store sells one hundred and twenty oil paintings that look, at a glance, like the real thing. Look a second longer and something is wrong in every one of them.

They started inside Gogh Wash, a game about cleaning a century of filth off a masterpiece and discovering you would rather not have. Eighty-five of the paintings here are from it. The other thirty-five were made because we could not stop.

Everything is printed to order — fine-art prints, framed prints, canvas, and packs of ten greeting cards with envelopes. Nothing is warehoused, nothing is mass produced, and nothing is explained.
